Master Fr. Antoni Fluvia makes known that he has revoked an order by Fr. Philibert de Naillac according to which the Jews of the city of Rhodes had to leave the upper Jewish quarter and to live in another part of the town. Since the place remained void, there were several incidents which lead to complaints of the citizens. Master Fr. Antoni Fluvia to Leonard Kretiko, the first of the citizens of Katagru: He has built the monastery Taksiarche Michael the Kombioti, for the salvation of his soul, and therefore he demands from the order to be freed from taxes and wants to come into possession of all mobile and immobile property owned by the monks of his monastery, in case of their death. Master Fr. Antoni Fluvia grants these privileges on condition that all silver, all gold, and all precious stones and vases, that had belonged to the late monk and that were found in the night after his death should belong exclusively to the order. The monks were to be buried on the grounds of the monastery, and their superiors (or someone else) had to report the death to the castellan or to the headmaster or the first of the castellania, the same day. Master Fr. Antoni Fluvia to the Genoese Antonio Catteneo, son of the knight Ottobuono Cattaneo: rents the casale Salakos to him and his descendants. The lease is to last 29 years and can be renewed two times, and the village is leased for 87 years in total. Antonio Cattaneo has to pay a yearly rent of 150 florins. He also possesses the lower jurisdiction over the village, but the order still reserves itself the right of the wood of this village. Master Fr. Antoni Fluvia declares that the Genoese Antonio Cattaneo who borrowed 3.000 florins from master Fr. Juan de Heredia (1377-1396) and had to refund the sum to the treasury, is absolved from paying this sum for himself and for his descendants.
