[Richard II] Exemplification, in favour of the prior and brethren of St. John of Jerusalem of letters patent dated 28 November, 2 Edward III, being an exemplification of letters patent dated 16 August, 4 Edward I, confirming to the Knights Templars the grant to them in frank almoin by Henry III of the manor of Rothelee with the advowson of its church and chapels in Gayddesby, Cayham, Grymstonne, Warnotby, Caudewell and Wykam, to hold as the pittance of the brethren of their convent of Acre. Note on the permission for Fr. Ludovico de Valpergia, Prior of Lombardy, to finance his expenses by a loan of 270 duc. at the cost of the treasury. The captain of Smyrna, Fr.
