*TS1257.02.01 - 1 February, 1257, Rome. - Pope Alexander IV. orders the archbishop (Fulko) of Gniezno and bishop of (Prandota) of Krakow to initiate the foundation of an episcopal see in the castle of Lukow which was donated to the Temple as long as from this no disadvantage arises for the Teutonic Order.

*TS1257.03.06 - 6 March, 1257, Lateran. - Alexander IV to master and brethren of the Templars: confirms all papal privileges granted to the Templars and revokes all contradicting ordinances. *TS1257.03.09 - 9 March, 1257, Lateran. - Alexander IV to master and brethren of the Templars: declares that due to their merits for the defence of the Holy Land the archbishops, bishops and others are not allowed to demand more than originally conceded. *TS1257.03.17 - 17 March, 1257, Lateran. - Alexander IV to master and brethren of the Templars: grants that the partly repeal of the privileges of those exempt from the regular ecclesiastical courts does not have effect on the order. TS1257.04.00 - April, 1257, s.l. - John of Montfort, Lord of Toron, confirms to Thomas Berard, master of the Templars, the grants of his father, Philippe de Montfort, in the hands of master Renaud Vichier. (Röhricht, 1258a)

*TS1257.09.26 - 26 September, 1257, Viterbo. - Pope Alexander IV to Preceptor and brethren of the Templars in Alemania et Slavia: confirms their possession of villages, lands, properties, and other things which were donated by Wolodeczlaus and Henry Dukes of Poland. TS1257.11.11 - [11 November 1257], s.l. - Abbot William of St. Trond visits Lupsdorf and Niederbreysig (Brisecha) for a survey of the properties of his monastery. The old Ernest von Brisecha recalls that the Templar and Remar von Briseche are obliged to pay rents to the monastery, the Templars also because of the heritage of Johann, son of Th.
