TS1255.07.21 - 21 July, 1255, --. - Thiébault, King of Navarre, Count Palatinate of Champagne and Brie, and Isabella, his wife, confirm a compromise agreed between Queen Margaret, Thiébault's mother, and the Templars according to which the Order retains all his properties and rights in Campagne and Brie, cf. TS1255.12.07.a - 7 December, 1255, Rome, Lateran. - Pope Alexander IV to all archbishops, bishops, abbots and other ecclesiastical prelates: admonishes and orders them to excommunicate any of their clerics or lay people who captures any of the brethren of the Templars, takes their horses, treats him inhonestly or violently.
