tan / mukti phalaniɳ swakaryya ri genany utpatti saɳ hyaɳ sudarmma.

2. len taɳ darmma lpas padekana rinaksadegnya de çri narendra,

çaiwadyaksa sira wineh wruha rumaksa parhyanan / mwaɳ kalagyan,
boddadyaksa sireki raksaka ri sakwehniɳ kuti mwaɳ wihara,

1. nahan muwah kasugatan / kabajradaran akrameka wuwusen,
i çakabajra ri nadi tada mwan i mukuh ri samban i tajuɳ,
lawan tan amrtasabha ri baɳbaniri boddi (125b) mula waharu,
tampak / duri paruha tandare kumudaratna nandinagara.

2. len taɳ wunanjaya palandit ankil asah iɳ samicyapitahen,
nairanjane wijayawaktra magnen i poyahan / bala masin,
ri krat lemah tulis i ratnapankaja panumbanan kahuripan,
mwaɳ ketaki talaga jambale junul i wisnuwala pameweh.

3. len tekaɳ budur wwirun i wunkulur mwan i manangun i watu kura,
bajrasana mwan i pajambayan / ri samalanten iɳ simapura,
tambak laleyan i pilangu poh aji ri wankali mwan i beru,
lmbah dalinan i panadwan adi nika riɳ pacaccan apagöh.

1. lwir niɳ darmma lpas karsyan i sumpud / rupit / mwaɳ pilan,
len tekaɳ pucanan / jagaddita pawitra mwaɳ butun tan kasah,
kapwa teka hana pratista çabha len linga pranalalapupul,
mpunku sthapaka saɳ mahaguru panenguh ni sarat / kotama.


2. yekiɳ darmma lpas / rinaksa mapagöh riɳ swakramanyeɳ danu,
milwaɳ sima ta pratista pinakadinyan / swatantra sthiti,
banwan tunkal i siddayatra jaya len siddahajöɳ lwah (126a) kali,
twas / waçista palah padar sirinan adinyaɳ kacewankuran.


3. wanjaɳ bajrapure wanora makduk hanten / guha mwaɳ jiwa,
jumput / çobha pamuntaran / baru kaboddançan / prakaçottama,
kajar ddana hana turas / jalagiri centiɳ wkas / wandira,
wandayan gatawaɳ kulampayan i taladinya kasyankura.

4. darmmarsi sawunan / blah juru siddaɳ sranan waduryyaglan,
gandatrp haraçala nampu kakadaɳ hajyan gahan riɳ jagat,
sima nadyabhaye tiyaɳ pakuwukan / sima kiyal/ mwaɳ çuci,
tan karyyaɳ kawiri barat / kacapanan / ywangehnya simapagöh.


5. len sankerika wança wisnu kalatiɳ batwan kamansyan batu,
tangulyan / dakulut galuh makalaran / mukya swatantrapagöh,
len taɳ deça mdaɳ hulun / hyan i paruɳ lunge pasajyan kelut,
andel mad paradah gɳön panawan adinyan luput riɳ danu.


6. tan warnnan tikanaɳ kalagyan anlat / riɳ sarwwa deçeɳ jawa,
lawan taɳ kuti sapratista milu taɳ tanpa pratistapagöh,
ndan / bhedanya kasanghikan / sthiti kabhuktyanyan sake nagara,
(126b) mwaɳ kasthapakan ungwaniɳ lumagi lagy amrih kriya mwaɳ brata.

7. len taɳ mandala mula sagara kukub / purwwasthitinyeniwö,
tan karyyaɳ sukayajna kasturi caturbhasmeka liɳ saɳ rsi,
katyagan / caturaçrame pacira bulwan / mwaɳ luwan / nwe kupaɳ,
akweh lranya manaçrayeɳ thani lawan / jangan / prasiddeɳ jagat.

1. Then the Prince the Tikta Wilwa (Majapahit) compound's King was the more very zealous in managing as to his activities.
In affairs (of state) there was no party that was (particularly) inclined to in his heart; all essence of the agamas (religious doctrines) was followed.
He did not become partial when awarding honours; they should be perfectly matching for all people.
Kirti (meritorious work) was practised unremittingly by Him, knowing the future etcetera; verily he is a divine incarnation in the material (world).

2. Now our lord's eminent dharmas (domains) there, foundations of honoured Royal ancestors in the past,
all kinds of those that were not yet finished by Them were cared for, guarded, minded that they should be taken care of.
Anyone devoid of a charter was instructed that a charter should be made by the honoured experts in the lore.
To be orderly was the intended fruit thereof, without possible appearance of [having] dissensions, to pass on to all Their descendants in the future.

3. How numerous are our lord's eminent dharmas (domains) there, grown celebrated! They have as first one: Kagenengan.
The specification of those eminent dharmas (domains) is further : Tumapel, Kidal, Jajaghu, Wedwa-wedwan, Tudan
and Pikatan, Bukul, Jawa-jawa, Antang, Antarashashi, Kalang Brat, Jaga,
on the other hand Balitar, Shilabrit, Waleri, Babeg, Kukap, Lumbang, Pagor.

1. In the first place Antahpura, Sagala and Simping too,
and Shri-Ranggapura and also Buddhi Kuncir.
Prajnaparamitapuri is new, an addition
and that one in Bhayalango; for which the ceremonies were just performed.

2. Thus are our lord's dharmas (domains) numbered: twenty-seven,
in seven-twiceborn-sun Shaka (1287 = 1365 A.D.), in the Bhadramonth (August-September).
Equally well-born gentlemen, well-versed, are those whom is given (the charge) to be guardians,
in company with sthapakas (abbots), wiku-rajas (Royal priests), clever in the books of learning.

1. Then an honoured mantri (mandarin) is given the supervision over all of those, the honoured arya (Honourable) Wiradhikara.
a dharmadhyaksa (bishop) guarding all kinds of those dharmas (domains) of the Interior, not negligent,
steadfastly diligent, always concerned about the serving of others, the well-being of the honoured Illustrious Princes,
not enjoying the fruit of his own religious labouring for the wishedfor greatness of the production of the honoured holy eminent dharmas (domains).

2. On the other hand now the dharmas lepas (free religious domains), all of them there (in the country) are protected as to their establishments, by the Illustrious Prince.
The Shiwaite adhyaksa (bishop), He is given the supervision and the guardianship of parhyangans (sacred places) and kalagyans (artisans' places).
The Buddhist adhyaksa (bishop), He is here guardian of all kutis (cloister halls) and wiharas (monasteries).
The mantri her-haji (mandarin King's Servant) now, the karesyans (friars' places) are taken care of by hirn, being guardian of the honoured tapaswis (anchorites).

1. The specification of the dharmas lepas pratistha Shiwa (free domains abodes of Shiwa) is: in the first place kuti balay's (halls with pavilions): Kanci on the other hand Kapulungan,
Roma and Wwatan, Ishwara Gerha, Walandit, Tajung, Kuti Lamba, on the other hand Taruna.
Parhyangans (sacred places): Kuti Jati, Candi Lima, Nilakusuma, Harinandana, Uttamasuka,
and prasada hajis (Royal temple-towers): Sadang, and Panggumulan, Kuti Sanggraha, Jayashika.

2. Not must stay behind the sphatikeyangs (Divinity's crystals): Jaya Manalu, Haribhawana, Candi Wungkal, Pigit,
Nyu Denta, Katuda, Srangan, Kapuyuran, Jaya Muka, Kulanandana, Kanigara,
Rembut and Wuluhen, also Kinawong and Sukawijaya and Kajaha too,
Campen and Rati-Manmathashrama, Kulang-Kaling, Batu Putih, that now is an addition.

3. The specification of the dharmas kasogatan kawinaya lepas (free domains of the Buddhist clergy under the disciplinary regulations) is: Wipularama, Kuti Haji
and Yanatraya, Rajadhanya, Kuwu Natha, Surayasha, Jarak, Lagundi, Wadari,
Wéwé and Pacekan, Pasarwwan, Lemah Surat, Pamanikan, Srangan, Pangiketan,
Panghapwan, Damalung; Tepas Jati, Wanäshrama, Jenar, Samudrawela, Pamulung.

4. Baryang, Amertawardhani, Weti-Wetih, Kawinayan, Patemwan, Kanuruhan,
Weng-Tal, Wengker, Hanten, Banu Jiken, Bata-Bata, Pagagan, Sibok, Padurungan,
and Pindatuha, on the other hand Telang, Surabha (these are) the foremost of them; Sukalila now is an addition.
Not to be mentioned are those there that are manganwaya (followers): Pogara, Kulur, Tangkil are the first of them, crowded.

1. Thus moreover the kasugatan kabajradharan akrama (places of thunderbolt bearing Buddhists living married according to custom), these are to be mentioned:
Ishanabajra, Naditata and Mungguh, Sambang, Tajung,
also that Amertasabha, Bangbangir, Boddhimula, Waharu,
Tampak Duri, Paruha, Tandara, Kumuda-Ratna, Nandi-Nagara.

2. On the other hand that Wunganjaya, Walandit, Tangkil, Asah, Samici, Apitahen
Nairanjana, Wijaya-Waktra, Mageneng, Poyahan, Bala-Masin,
Krat, Lemah Tulis, Ratna-Pangkaja, Panumbangan, Kahuripan,
and Ketaki, Talaga-Jambala, Jungul, Wishnu-Wala, an addition.

3. On the other hand that Budur, Wirun, Wungkulur and Mananggung, Watu Kura,
Bajrasana and Pajambayan, Samalanten, Simapura,
Tambak Laleyan, Pilanggu, Poh Aji, Wang Kali and Beru,
Lembah, Dalinan, Pangadwan are the first of them in the Register, fixed.

[Canto 78]

1. The specification of the dharmas lepas karesyan (free domains places of friars) is: Sumpud, Rupit and Pilan,
on the other hand that Pucangan, Jagaddhita, Pawitra and Butun, not separated.
Equally now there are found pratisthasabhas (assemblies of divine statues) and on the other hand linggapranalas (ithyphallic sanctuaries) in company.
The mpungku sthapaka (monsignor abbot): honoured mahaguru (grand-master) is the title in the whole of the world, excellent.

2. These now are the dharmas lepas (free domains), guarded firmly in their own customs from olden times.
Joined are the simas (estates) without pratisthas (divine abodes); considered as the first of them, being swatantra (independent), orderly, are:
Bangwan, Tungkal, Siddhayatra, Jaya, on the other hand Siddhahajong, Lwah Kali,
Twas, Washista, Palah, Padar, Siringan: (these are) the first of them, the kashaiwangkurans (Shiwaite offshoots).

3. Wanjang, Bajrapura, Wanora, Makeduk, Hanten, Guha and Jiwa.
Jumput, Shobha, Pamutaran, Baru are kaboddhangshans (Buddhist dependencies), renowned, excellent.
Kajar, Dana Hanar, Turas, Jalagiri, Centing, Wekas, Wandira,
Wandayan, Gatawang, Kulampayan, Tala are the first of them, the karesyangkurans (friaries' offshoots).

4. Dharmarsi, Sawungan, Belah, Juru, Siddha, Srangan, Waduri, Agelan,
Gandha-Kerep, Harashala, Nampu are kakadanghajyans (Royal kinsmen's estates), noted in the world.
Sima Nadi, Abhaya, Tiyang, Pakuwukan, Sima Kiyal and Shuci,
not are staying behind Kawiri, Barat, Kacapangan here, their legal status is sima (estate), fixed.

5. Something different from those are the wangsha Wishnu (Wishnu's family lands): Kalating, Batwan, Kamangsyan, Batu,
Tanggulyan, Dakulut, Galuh, Makalaran are the principal ones. independent, fixed.
Something different again are the deshas medang hulun hyang (districts, sacred lands of Spirits' servants): Parung, Lunggé, Pasajyan, Kelut,
Andel Mas, Paradah, Geneng, Pangawan are the first of them, being luput (free) from olden times.

6. Not to be described now are those kalagyans (artisans' places) there interspersed in all deshas (districts) of Java.
Also the kutis (halls, manses) with pratisthas (divine abodes) in company with those without pratisthas (divine abodes), fixed.
Then, there is a difference between them: kasangghikans (places belonging to the Buddhist congregation), orderly: their being given legal proofs (of their rights) is (forthcoming) from town,
and kasthapakans (abbots' residences), places of practisers of arts and crafts applying themselves to kriya (religious activity) and brata (fulfilment of vows).

7. Another thing yet are the mandalas (sacred-ring communities) Mula-Sagara (Old-Sagara), Kukub; their ancient order is taken care of.
Not are staying behind the Sukayajna-Kasturi (communities); caturbhasma (four ashmarks) are these (in) the parlance of the honoured reshis (friars).
Katyagans caturashrama (places of recluses of the four hermitages) are Pacira, Bulwan and Luwanwa, Kupang.
Over many places is their spreading, looking for support in the peasants´ lands, with the janggans (rural doctors) officiating to the world (the public in general).
