TS1291.08.16 - 16 August, 1291, Orvieto. - Pope Nicholas IV to the Archbishop of Split: orders him to discuss in a provincial synod with his suffragans if a union of Hospitallers and Templars will contribute to recover the Holy Land from the hands of the faithless tyrant; after the debate he shall inform the apostolic see about the results. TS1291.08.18 - 18 August, 1291, Orvieto. - Pope Nicholas IV to the Archbishop of Cagliari: The common opinion is that Hospitallers and Templars shall be united into one order to contribute more effectively to the recovery of the Holy Land from the hands of the faithless tyrant. Therefore, orders him to discuss this in a provincial synod with his suffragans; after the debate he shall inform the apostolic see immediately about the results. Inc. Dura nimis et. *TS1291.08.27 - 27 August, 1291, Barcelona. - James II. ensures that the Temple receives its tenth of royal revenues by giving orders to the bailiff of Barcelona.

*TS1291.09.28 - 28 September, 1291, Zaragoza. - King James II. gives the order to the justiciar of Calatayud to force a certain Jewess to surrender her property to the Temple because she failed to pay the rent owed for it.

*TS1291.10.30 - 30 October, 1291, s.l. - King James II writes to the collectors of peaje and lezda at Daroca about the exaction of these dues from the men of the Temple.
