TS1217.01.23 - 23 January, 1217, Lateran. - Pope Honorius III to the archbishops, bishops, and other church officials: admonishes them to respect the rights of the Templars granted to them in relation to indulgences and the administration of their churches and their incomes; they should not excommunicate neither the whole order nor single of its priests. - Quanto dilecti filii fratres militie Templi propriis derelectis. TS1217.01.28 - 28 January, 1217, Lateran. - Pope Honorius III forbids to raise any form of tenth from the Templars. *TS1217.03.00 - March 1217, s.l. - J. Abbot and F. Prior of St. Geneviève at Paris, papal judges in the conflict between the Templars and [Geoffroy IV] Viscount of Châteaudun, decide in absence of the third judge, the Prior of St. Eligius, based on the hearing of witnesses and public documents, also in absence of the accused. The Viscount is condemned to restitute two horses, a carriage, 30 shilling and wood worth 4 pounds, forcefully taken by men of the Viscount, and to free men working in the ditches of the Templars. The Viscount shall stop to divert water from the mill of the Order, to counteract the rights of the Templars in the forests, and to block streets from the village Temple. *TS1217.11.06 - 6 November, 1217, s.l. - Pope Honorius III to the Master of the Temple in England: orders to pay the proceeds from the benefices of M[organ], the late provost of Beverley, to the legitimate possessors; although these proceeds had been granted by the pope for three years to the crusade, letters of the king and G. the papal legate make clear that the provost had made no will with due disposition - as had been suggested - but resigned his benefices before starting to crusade and soon died as oblate of Fountains Abbey.

*TS1217.08.00 - August 1217, s.l. - W. de Jalla, W. de Lonreio, W. de Brueiria, Herbertus Torpin, Hamelinus de Roorts, Odo de Brulo and Raginaldus de Orrevile to Abbot and Prior of Ste. Geneviève and the Prior of St. Eligius: They have pacified the conflict between the Templars and the nobleman Johannes de Brueria, with his mandate and with the council of wise men both from his family as well as others. Thus, the Templars have been conceded different properties: streets of the New Town (de Burgo-Novo), a vineyard and land which they had from Amauricus de Troo, also streets which belonged to Radulfus de Albiniaco and houses at the old market of Broellio.They shall keep these properties peacefully. The Templars have asked for a compensation of 200 m. silver for their damages and informed them that their subjects have been wounded and killed by Johannes and his men. The negotiators ask to lift the excommunications against them and to confirm the agreement between them and the Templars.
