Pope Honorius III to the Master of the Temple in England: orders to pay the proceeds from the benefices of M[organ], the late provost of Beverley, to the legitimate possessors; although these proceeds had been granted by the pope for three years to the crusade, letters of the king and G. the papal legate make clear that the provost had made no will with duvh disposition - as had been suggested - but resigned his benefices before starting to crusade and soon died as oblate of Fountains Abbey. - Citta del Vaticano, Archivio segreto, Reg.
