Master Fr. Juan Fernández de Herédia confirms for Fr. Galceran de Requesens, preceptor of Mallorca, the receipt of monies from the indulgence for Smyrna. (NLM Arch. 325, fol. 20v-21r, register / Sarnowsky, Johanniter und Smyrna, 2, n. 52, pp. 75-76)

26 April, 1392. Avignon.
Master Fr. Juan Fernández de Herédia receives the accounts of Fr. Pierre de Provins, concerning the incomes (of a total of 73.085 fl.) and spendings of the order. Notes on the decisions of an assembly at Avignon: for a better defence of the Convent at Rhodes and to fight more successfully against the Turks, the members of the order are admonished to regularly pay their responsions and other dues and to adhere to the decisions from September 1390, cf. Master Fr. Juan Fernández de Herédia to Dragonetto Clavelli: informs him about a decision of an assembly at Avignon to shorten the walls of Smyrna; for this measure, he sends him 4000 fl. (NLM Arch. 326, fol. 147v, register / Sarnowsky, Johanniter und Smyrna, 2, n. 55, pp. 76-77)

28 October, 1392. Avignon.
Master Fr. Juan Fernández de Herédia nominates Baptista de Mari, merchant from Sevilla, receiver of indulgences pro custodia, deffentione civitatis Smirnarum, ipsius menium reparatione concessis, namely of 10.000 (Aragonese) fl. from Fr. Alfonso Martínez de Heredia, the preceptor of Bamba, and 6000 fl. of Fr. Miguel Sánchez de Busto, the preceptor of Buradon (priory of Castile); also he shall demand outstanding responsions of 2000 fl. from Sancho Martínez de Heredia, dem Prior von Kastilien. Master Fr. Juan Fernández de Herédia demands support from the houses in the West and sends a contingent of knights under the command of Grand Preceptor Fr.
