Master and Convent to Fr Thomas fitzGerot: because of his merits for the Order he has been elected Prior of Ireland [the discussions of
9-10 September, 1450 are not mentioned], following the death of the last legitimate prior, the Turcopolier Fr Hugh Middleton; reservation of the collation of one or two preceptories according to the statutes established unter Master Fr Berengar at the chapter general of Avignon 1366.
