Fr. Rudolph Graf von Werdenberg, Prior of Germany, and the bailiffs and heads of preceptories, celebrating a chapter assembly in Worms, declare on complaint of Fr. Thomas van Rothusen, head of the houses at Arnhem and Nimwegen, that the maintenance of Fr. Nicolaus van Schoten must be paid for by the head of the preceptory of Haarlem, because this house has been assigned as his residence. Fr. Petrus d'Aubusson, Grand Master, sends a summons to Fr. Rudolphus de Werdenberg, Prior of Germany, for a meeting at Rhodes concerning the combat against the Turks and appropriate financial measures, ordering him to pass the message to several heads of preceptories, amongst them Fr.
