The Master Fr. Giovanbattista Orsini and the Council decide on measures for the defence of the people of Rhodes against Ottoman attacks.

Edward IV grants the licence to Fr. John Kendale, knight, brother of St. John of Jerusalem in England, or his executors, factors or attorneys to ship 100 wollen cloths without grains in any ports of England and take them to any foreign parts quit of subsidies. To Fr. Rudolf von Werdenberg, baiullivus capitularis of Brandenburg, and to Fr. Betz de Liechtenberg, preceptor of Frankfurt: order to introduce Fr. Johann Wilhelm von Bodman into actual possession of the preceptory Erdlingen.

The Chapter General at Rhodes decides on the monies necessary for strengthening the fortifications at Monólithos and other places.
