Pope Sixtus IV orders the provost of the chapter of St John in Utrecht to grant papal consent, if he thinks the demand reasonable, to the St Catharine's Convent in Utrecht in electing its own head and having the election confirmed by the Prior of Germany afterwards, as was the habit under the last prior. Giovanni-Baptista de Orsinis, Master, and the Convent grant the preceptory of Mechelen with a member at Aachen, vacant by the decease of frater Hermann Schult, to frater Peter Madur, head of the preceptory of Frisia, on account of his merits.
