Master Fr. Philibert de Naillac and the Convent on Rhodes to Fr. Domenico de Alemania, preceptor of Naples: a sum of 11.200 fl. is needed for the defence of Smyrna. This sum will be supplied by Fr. Dominico, who is granted the preceptory of Noyera and Finica on Cyprus for lifetime, with annual responsions of 1.000 fl., and who is acquitted the payments for the first eleven years. Master Fr. Philibert de Naillac and the Convent at Rhodes to the Western priories: demand support for Rhodes, Smyrna, and the other strongholds of the order in the East, namely by sending 205 fratres, each to be equipped with 100 fl.:
30 from the Francia, 12 from Aquitaine, 8 from Champagne, 32 from S. Gilles, 8 from Toulouse, 20 from Catalonia, 25 from the Castellany of Amposta, 15 from Castile, 25 from England, 10 from Germany and Bohemia as well as 20 from Auvergne.

Notes on a discussion in the order's council at Rhodes how to protect the strongholds in Greece against the Ottoman threat. It is decided to focus first on Rhodes, the other islands of the order and equally on Smyrna, before participating in the defence of mainland Greece.
