Note concerning the licence for Fr. Jacques de Borbon, preceptor of Liège, to lease his preceptory for three years and to transfer this lease to another preceptory; this agreement shall continue even in the case of his death. - NLM Arch. 400, fol. 7r. Register. - --

Die 23a (a) Septembris 1511 frater Jacobus de Barbono preceptorie Leodii preceptor licentiam obtinuit preceptoriam ipsam ad tres annos et tres recollectas, sed de(b) anno in annum pecuniis anticipatis arrendandi, cum hoc, quod si prefatam preceptoriam mutaverit cum priore prioratus predicti, prefatum arrendamentum currat et vim habeat super preceptoria permutata. Et si durante dicto arrendamento super altera dictarum preceptoriarum vos decedere contingat, hoc tamen arrendamentum usque ad complementum dicti termini perduret.
