Note on a quarrel ( questio et differentia) between the Marshal Fr. Louis de Serra, appaltator of the island of Nisyros, and Fr. Gabriel Vieux, preceptor of Pumison: Fr. Louis re-leased the island of Nisyros to Fr. Gabriel for 900 fl. annually, but Fr. Gabriel refused to pay out of certain causes. The Lieutenant of the Master and Prior of the Convent, Fr. Giacomo de Guidone, and the Council decide that Fr. Gabriel has to pay the sum of 600 fl. which is the sum due to the treasury by Fr. Louis; this form of re-lease is declared detrimental to the treasury and is declared null and void for the future. - NLM Arch. 364, fol. 171v-172r. Register. - Edited: Z. N.
