TS1256.00.00 - [1256], s.l. - Cunrad von Boninvelt and his wife Irmindrud donate their house to the female convent close to Andernach under certain conditions. The house is debited with a rent to the Templars. (Andernach, Schreinsrolle No. 85 / Mittelrheinische Regesten, 3, No. 1352)

TS1256.01.03 - 3 January, 1256, Rome, Lateran. - Pope Alexander IV to all archbishops, bishops, abbots and other ecclesiastical prelates: orders them that, if any the brethren of the Templars happens to come to their places to collect alms, they receive them kindly and not hinder their confraternities and confratres etc. Inc. TS1256.01.18 - 3 January, 1256, Rome, Lateran. - Pope Alexander IV to Master and brethren of the Templars in England: allows them to use their privileges which had been fallen out of use due to negligence or lack of knowledge. Inc. Licet sicut lecta.. (Regesta Pontificum, II,2, 16194, p. 1330)

TS1256.01.20 - 20 January, 1256, Rome, Lateran. - Pope Alexander IV to Master and brethren of the Knighthood of the Temple of Jerusalem: indulges them that they can pay any dues, collections or exactions imposed on them in money and not in kind. TS1256.02.08 - 8 February, 1256, Rome, Lateran. - Pope Alexander IV to Master and brethren of the Knighthood of the Temple of Jerusalem: informs them that he has inhibited prelates not to force them to receive them as guests. TS1256.04.00 - April 1256, s.l. - Archbishop Arnold of Trier separates the castle chapel at Vianden from the mother church at Rode, making Vianden an independent parish church, separated by the river Oure, with the consent of Fulco of St. Michel, Master of the Knights of the Templars in Francia, and the Count of Vianden. The Templars have the rights of collation for Rode, the Count for Vianden. 1256 mense Aprilis.
