TS1238.03.09 - 9 March 1238, Rome. - Gregory IX to the Master and the knights of the Templars: orders to patrol the area between Caesarea and Jaffa and to protect the pilgrims on their way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, because there had been attacks by Saracens on the route.
