Fr. Bernardinus to Fr. Georg Schilling, preceptor of Überlingen (Huberlinguen) and lieutenant of the magnus baiulius of the Convent: since many brethren of the lingua Alemanie have died during the siege of Rhodes, permission to admit aliquot milites into the Order.

The Master and the Council have heared commissioners about an agreement made with the consent of the magnus baiulius Alemanie at the instigation of Fr. Georg Schilling, written down and signed at the order of the chancellor, Fr. Thomas Bosio, miles, by the late Fr. Thomas Guichordi: Fr. Konrad von Schwalbach, gran balio, gives up his claims to the commandery of Tobel under certain conditions in favour of Fr. Georg Schilling, repaying the incomes since 1524 June 24, and Fr. Georg Schilling resigns his commandery of Überlingen in favour of Fr. Konrad von Schwalbach. The commanderies of Sulz and Dorlisheim remain with the brother of Fr. Georg, Fr. Philipp Schilling.
