John of Rožmberk (Rozenberk) in Strakonice (Strakonicz), master of the Order of St. John in Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, Poland and the Austrian lands, John of Lomnica (Lomnicze), prior, and the convent in Strakonice give to their forester Jan Vacovský a manor in Bezdieków in front of the Strakonice castle between the manors of Jan Polák and Matěj Šilhavy with an orchard, two yards of the village with a meadow under the new pond, by right of purchestration. Jan and his heirs would be obliged to harvest grain ('50 kopecks of grain') for two years and brew beer at Strakonice Castle for the third year. They further testify that Jan Vacovský built a new house in the manor and sold a part of the yard and half an orchard for 6,5 kopeks to Jan Kloboučník and his heirs, to whom the obligation to harvest the grain passed, Jan Vacovský is to continue to provide a batch of beer. In the event of a resale, Kloboučník is to offer his part of the yard first to Vacovský. Brother Gabriel de Pomerolx, Lieutenant of the Grand Master of the Order of St. John, Philip de Villiers Lisladam, and the Convent of Rhodes confirm the advertised treaty between Christopher de Waldner (Waldener), Preceptor of the Commandery of Mailberg (Malperch), and Reinprecht of Eberstorf (Oberstorf), Knight of the Bohemian Priory of the Order of St. John (dated 22. 6.1521, Rhodes), according to which Reinprecht undertakes to administer the commandery for the absent Christopher, who resides in Rhodes as lieutenant of the Grand Bailiff of the local convent, and to pay him 50 ducats a year; Christopher promises in return to intercede for Reinprecht to be appointed ordinary preceptor in Mailberg.
