Master Pierre d Aubusson proposes to inspect the island and to order repairs and new fortifications.

The complete council determines that the next chapter general will start 1 May, 1478.

21 November, 1477
Edward IV grants the licence to Fr. John Weston, prior of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem in England, and his successors or factors or attorneys to ship 100 wollen cloths in each of the next four years in the ports of London and Southampton and take them to any foreign parts, paying only such customs and subsidies as denizens would pay for cloths taken to parts other than the west by the strait of Marrok.
