Licence for Robert Hales, prior of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem in England, to make attorneys in Wales, and that each of them may make others, and that William Welks and Richard Multon, confratres of the said prior, be admitted for attorneys, for three years, with like power. - John de Scarle, clerk, received the attorneys. Commission of oyer and terminer to Robert Bealknap, William de Skipwith, Roger de Kyrketon, William Burgh, Richard Sydenham and Henry Frowyk, on complaint by the prior of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem that, when he had caused certain beasts to be seized in dampno suo by his servants at Iseldon, co. Middlesex, and they wanted to impark (imparcare) them, John de Northampton, of London, draper, and others forcibly rescued them, seized and carried away his goods there, consumed his growing corn and grass and assaulted his servants. Note on the order for the general receiver in the West, Fr. Pierre de Provins, to pay 570 fl yearly for six years to the grand preceptor of the order, Fr. Bertrand Flote, as recompensation for the payment of the mercenaries at Smyrna which was made with monies due to his office.
